my expertise

BEGIN

It started with a "GOLDBAND". Cement. tiles. As a building materials merchant, you tend to have less to do with two-wheelers. But right from the start of my work, there was always passion, whether it was with building materials at the time or later with bikes.

The search and finding of new, creative ways and solutions have always driven me. Right from the start, I wasn't afraid to take on responsibility. So I was able to lead my first team in my mid-20s, also accompany training and reorganize departments. I never got bored. The cornerstone for becoming a sales and organization professional was laid back then.

PASSION

In addition to my professional passion, the topic of bicycles has accompanied me since my childhood. When I was young, my father "draged" me to the ups and downs of the Spessart forest, my home area. In the beginning I was still struggling to moan about struggling up the mountains, but my passion quickly grew here. In 2001, this passion also became my professional passion.

EXPERIENCE

For more than 20 years in the bike industry in the DACH area I have a lot of experience in this. The understanding of the needs of the trade, the end consumer and of course the brand. Whether in sales, brand building, personnel management, budget planning, event coordination, social media, training, public relations or organizing photo shoots, there is little that I cannot be responsible for.

NETWORK

Contacts to dealers, purchasing associations such as the BIKE&CO, opinion leaders, media partners, etc. are available and have been constructively expanded over the last 20 years. So almost everywhere in the industry there is some kind of contact or beneficial connection. This is also reflected in mine credentials contrary.

TEAMWORK

In my last two positions at BMC as BH BIKES I was also responsible for staff, at BH as country manager responsible for a structure of 10 people. As a team leader, I always see myself as part of the team. Not as an external part that only delegates this. I see myself as a primus interpares, as a team captain. But always part of the team. The open and constructive exchange at eye level is important to me and also part of my success.

NEVER STOP

Standing still is not my thing. To learn new things, to keep one's eyes open and to keep up with developments. Whether with the trainer's license, my part-time further training for Commercial Specialist/Bachelor (IHK) or, for example, most recently the training for Social Media Manager (IHK). Always hungry for something new.
